iPhone Hacked With Zero-Day Font Vulnerability!

jailbreakme 3.0Jailbreakme.com was a recent project to automate the jailbreaking of the any idevices namely the iPhone, iPod or iPad.

The latest iPhones very easily get hacked with a zero day font weakness. Now, anyone can just log onto to the website and jailbreak their iDevices.

The technical information of this is not known as of now but the attack is done by making use of certain fonts in the mobiles operating system.

This is very much like the initial version of the jailbreak wherein it was combined with the second privilege growth bug to escape the sandbox.

“Comex” mentioned that the attack defeats the Address Space Layout Randomization, which is a mechanism against exploits.

Unlocking/jailbreaking an iPhone had never been a big deal, but with this iphone hack, things would literally become a child’s play!
